Condemned: Criminal Origins is a Survival-Horror and Single-player video game developed by Monolith Productions and published by Sega for Multiple Platforms. The game was released in 2005 for PC and Xbox 360. It emphasizes puzzle solving and melee combat gameplay elements, including the searching for fingerprints and gathering clues. Although the game lets the player navigate its environment from a first-person perspective, it’s not a traditional FPS. Weapons are available but are uncommon. Unlike other titles from the FPS genre, though, guns are deadly, often murdering enemies with a single fire. The arms can be discovered, or snatched from enemies, are suitable for as long as the ammo in the magazine lasts. The game encourages the player to attack enemies fully equipped with firearms speedily. The main focus of the game is on revised melee, enabling the player and enemies to gather weapons from their surrounding environments, including locker doors, pipes, and more. Ethan Thomas is the protagonist of the game, serving as an SCU investigator.
