The game features both Single-player and Multiplayer modes, and the game acts as the follow-up to the video game Lego The Lord of the Rings focused on the first to movies such as The Desolation of Smaug and An Unexpected Journey. The game displays lots of features from the previous titles, including the feature where the player can locate specific materials to create the massive Lego object. When the player chooses and put the certain elements, a screen is shown where the Lego Machine is built, and the player can choose the right prices in exchange for studs. During the gameplay, the player can perform several actions such as move significant objects, create Dwarf Company, and more. There are several levels, and the player must complete each one to advance through the game to become the master.
