Quake 4 is a First-person Shooter, Single-player and Multiplayer video game developed by Raven Software and published by Activision. The game uses id Tech 4 engine for its development and requirements Windows XP to run. It serves as the sequel to Quake II video game, taking place during the same conflict as Enemy Territory: Quake Wars. However, as compared to other releases in the series, this game emphasizes the Single-player section of the game. The multiplayer mode is introduced, but it doesn’t involve playable bots like previous titles. There are several Multiplayer modes such as Capture the Flag, Tourney, Team Deathmatch, Arena CTF, Deathmatch, and more. The game includes almost similar elements to previous releases, including Rocket Jumping or Strafe Jumping. The single-player mode continues the plot of Quake II, pitting the player against an alien race called Strogg. The story follows the protagonist named a Marine Corporal named Matthew Kane. There are several challenging missions, and each requires the completion of certain objectives.
